Nanyang Style
Nanyang style integrates teachings from Western and Chinese painting, depicting local or Southeast Asian subject matters. Most Nanyang paintings are either Chinese ink or oil on canvas.
The most famous of the Nanyang artists are Liu Kang, Chen Chong Swee, Chen Wen Hsi, Cheong Soo Pieng and Georgette Chen
This is the Visual Analysis I did this semester. After finishing it, I felt I benefited a lot, learned a lot of knowledge and got a sense of achievement.
